Humanoid visited Manchester’s luxury shopping destination The Avenue this Thursday, to help celebrate the 35th Anniversary of designer fashion retailer Flannels. Held at Flannels’ Spinningfields store, with festivities next door in The Oast House, the event doubled as a fundraiser for The Christie charity, with the goal of collecting £50,000 for cancer treatment and care.
The Humanoid team fulfilled a lifelong ambition this Friday, working with the BBC to cover a fundraising effort for Children in Need’s annual charity appeal. The video features BBC staff in costume, Premier League football mascots and famous faces – including Blue Peter’s Barney Harwood – forming a dance flash mob in the MediaCityUK piazza.
Humanoid captured a momentous day for Staffordshire University and its University Quarter partners this Friday, as Stoke-on-Trent’s state-of-the-art Science Centre was opened. Double Olympic gold medallist and Staffs graduate Andrew Triggs Hodge presided over the opening ceremony, culminating in a spectacular blaze of day-time fireworks and showers of confetti.
