Open Day Event

Once again, Humanoid sent film crews throughout both Staffordshire University campuses, capturing proceedings at one of their many open days. The teams conducted interviews with prospective students to get their thoughts on the day.

Demonstrations and talks were running across all faculties, with engaging displays at the TV centre, newsroom, automotive and robotic engineering labs, crime house and courtrooms. This was a great opportunity for Humanoid to capture footage of the University in full swing for future interviews.

Humanoid's in Cambridge

As part of Stafford Hospital's "Taking Patient Care to the Next Level" project, Humanoid took an excursion to the Judge Business School, University of Cambridge. Researchers Pam Garside and Blaine Landis conducted an independent review of the leadership development programme, confirming the results to be overwhelmingly positive.

Humanoid interviewed both associates for the benefit of NHS leadership at the NHS Confederation's annual conference. Garside praised the initiative, urging executives to consider extending the programme throughout the organisation.

Question Time

Humanoid hosted a live studio broadcast for Staffordshire University's first Executive Questions and Answers session.

The panel – composed of University executives, including the new Vice Chancellor Professor Michael Gunn – addressed questions raised by members of staff in the studio audience and emails from online viewers of the live web stream.

The Q&A, part of the executive's new policy of transparency and communication with academic colleagues, was filmed in Stafford Television Studio. Humanoid provided crewing services and kept the broadcast running smoothly as the panel answered questions on everything from tuition fees to the appointment of a new chancellor.

The University, pleased with the success of the broadcast and the large audience, plans to repeat the exercise in the near future.
