Charles Leek & Sons

Tracing its history to the early 1900s, Charles Leek and Sons has been family-run for four generations. Expert in the manufacture and reverse engineering of custom cogs and gears, the company has made its reputation by creating replacement components for industry, as well as parts for vintage cars and traction engines.

Humanoid filmed the workshop’s machinery in close-up cinematic detail, intercutting the factory floor footage with Managing Director Adrian Leek describing the company’s history and values.   The finished video was embellished with the animation of historical archive photographs and an original, computer-generated animation of the company’s logo.
